Summer Hike!

7/30/10

I've been wanting to go on a hike for awhile and today was finally the day!  Joey and I headed up to Conifer with some other moms and babies from our Colorado Mountain Mamas group for a gorgeous hike at Flying J Ranch Park!  The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold!  Plus we were able to test out our new baby carrier!  I love it, and I think Jocelyn did too because she didn't make a peep the whole hike!  After the hike we enjoyed a nice quiet mountain picnic lunch before heading home!  It was a great day in the great outdoors!

Trip to Belleview Park

Today we met our friends Becki and Juliet at Belleview Park and had alot of fun!  First we went in the petting zoo.  It started out good until Joey got freaked out when we passed the turkey that was pacing and gobbling!  After that, the only thing she was worried about was the turkey, so we left.  Next, we headed over to the train!  It was crazy busy so we had to wait in line for a long time, but I think she really enjoyed her first train ride!  When we were done, we had fun playing in the grass!

Today we headed down to Parker for some playtime at Little Monkey Bizness!  It's a cafe/huge play area where the little ones can play and have fun, while moms and dads can sit back and enjoy themselves too!  Joey had alot of playing with all her friends!  Lydia, Juliet, Miles, and Jayden were all there!  Her favorite part was playing with all the balls, but she had a lot of fun bouncing on the trampoline, crawling through the tunnel, and playing with the activity table!  We can't wait to go back!

11 Months Old!

It's so crazy that Jocelyn is 11 months old today!  I've said it before and I'll say it again... boy does time fly!  She will be celebrating her 1st birthday in 1 month!  Wow!  She is such a great baby and we love her to pieces!  She's not walking yet, but so close it's scary!  She is a crawling fool though!  Her, there, and everywhere, in a flash!  =0)  She still only has 3 teeth, but I have a feeling she will be getting #4 soon.  She's also become quite the little babbler.  She spent some time with her friend Lydia this past weekend, and after day of talking babytalk to each other, Joey came home and starting saying "mmmm" and "mamamama"!  Since then, she hasn't stopped!  She's always babbling "ahhh," "mmmm," "ddddd," and "bbbbb"!  We love our little Joey so much and couldn't have asked for a better baby!

Jocelyn loves her Grams!  Today we headed over to surprise Grandma Tammy for her birthday!  She was surprised!  While we were there, Jocelyn had alot of fun playing with ther Grams!  In fact, Grams is the only person she wanted to be with!  The funny thing is that I was the same way when I was little!  =0)

We met up with our good friends Ginny and Lydia at the park today with some other moms and had alot of fun!  Jocelyn and I played on the playground to start, then Jocelyn was being a goofball having fun babbling and yelling at Lydia, and crawling all over the other moms!  She was so funny!

Grams & Gramps House

This weekend we headed over to Grams and Gramps house to celebrate Grams birthday!  Jocelyn is so funny everytime we go over there because she gets so excited to see both of them!  She had lots of fun playing with her favorite Japanese balls and in her new tent!  She is truly blessed with the best Great-Grandparents!
