Baby's Got A New Hair-Do!

I love Jocelyn long hair and want to let it keep growing, but I hate how it's always in her face! We've tried bows and clips, but they don't stay in very well because her hair is so fine, and she pulls headmands off before I even get them on, so today I tried something new! She looked so different, but super cute! Definitley a hair-do that we'll keep around for awhile! =0)
9 Month Check Up

Today Jocelyn had her check up, and she is 100% healthy, and according to the dr, developing very well! Very good to hear! Her labial adhesions have returned, so we are back to using vasaline every diaper change, and her special cream before bed. Apparently it is common for labial adhesions to come and go, and nothing to worry about! She weighs 17lbs and is 27 1/2 in long! She had to get one shot, her HepB, but other than that, we have no other complaints! Jocelyn is a healthy 9 month old baby girl! =0)

Jocelyn Can Stand!

So today she did it! She grabbed onto the couch and pulled herself up to a standing position, all by herself! Jim and I were sitting on the couch, I was watching tv and he was on his laptop, then all of a sudden, up popped Jocelyn! We were completely shocked! Now she's always trying to use whatever is in her reach to stand up, and even uses me as a Jungle Gym! lol
9 Months Old!

I can hardly believe that Jocelyn is 3/4 of the way to her 1st birthday! It is amazing how time flies! She is such a little character and I love her little personality! She continues to grow, change, learn, and make me smile everday! She's crawling all over the place and following me everywhere! I caught her in the kitchen the other day and she was sitting in front of the refridgerator playing with her shadow! lol She loves watching Baby Einstein, and her new walker that I got her! She is a GREAT eater, and loves eating Cheerios and Veggie Straws on her own! She is also a FABULOUS sleeper, and sleeps anywhere from 8-12 hours a night with a 2-3 hour nap during the day! I am the proudest mom of the best baby in the world! We love her so much!

I knew she was getting close, I just never guessed that today would be the day! She is still learning, but it definitely won't be long until I'm chasing her around the house! I'm so proud of my baby girl!

Tooth #2!

I can't believe it! Tooth #2 has arrived! I was feeding Jocelyn dinner and I thought I saw a 2nd tooth, but I wasn't sure... maybe I was seeing things? But I was right! Jocelyn now has her 2 front bottom teeth! Wow!

Bad Dreams??

I'm not sure what the deal was last night, but neither Jim nor I got much sleep! Jocelyn went to bed perfectly fine, but for some reason she woke up screaming bloody murder! Thinking she might have another tooth coming in, we tried giving her Baby Tylenol, but that didn't help. We also tried rocking her and singing to her, but nothing we did calmed her down. I finally said ok, and brought her into bed and she finally calmed down and went back to sleep! She woke up later with the same hear wrenching scream/cry, and we went through the whole ordeal again, and found that she was only calm with one of us touching her. If we took our hand off her, she would whimper and wake up crying... I don't know if it's even possible, but we decided that she had a bad dream! So after a long night, Jim and I are very tired, but at least the baby is awake and happy! =0)

Today Jocelyn spent a full day with her dad while I was working the craft fair! I have to say it was a long day without her, but from what Dad and Baby told me when I got home, it sounds like they had a good day of watching Baby Einstein, naping, singing songs, and playing tickling games! I'm sad I missed it, but I was so happy to see how excited she was to see me when I got home! She missed me too! =0)

Jocelyn's 1st Tooth!

Has arrived! We knew it was coming, but we were still shocked to see it when it came! Both her urine and her bowel have been very acid lately, which was the cause of her rash because it is apparently a sign of teething, plus she has been chewing on anything and everything lately! Then last night she woke up I don't know how many times, screaming and crying, so eventually after trying Baby Tylenol, rocking her, and singing to her, Jim and I brought her in bed with us and she crashed! Later while others were over for my digi-crop, I was telling my story to Grandma Tammy, and she asked if Jocelyn had a tooth. My response was no, then she checked, and low and behold she did! I don't know why I hadn't thought of checking, or why I was so shocked! I am just in aww that my baby has her first tooth! And to be honest it is very bittersweet. I have so excited she hit the tooth milestone, but am sad because it means my baby is growing up! =0)

My baby is another month older today! She is growing like a weed and changing everyday!She is getting so close to crawling I can hardly stand it! I watch her roll around and scoot herself on the floor all day long with my camera ready and waiting! =0) It has been so fun and so amazing watching my baby grow and learn over the past 8 months, I just wish she would stop growing so fast!
